Having earned her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas, Brianna, a first-generation college graduate has experienced first-hand the hardships and barriers that come with navigating higher education. Through these challenges, she found hope in community, and being surrounded by others with a similar path and lived experiences. As she continues her journey, she remains committed to giving back to the community that helped her achieve her dreams, and driven by her optimism in working towards a more equitable future for all.

In her free time, Brianna enjoys spending time with her family, partner, and dog (Benito). While also finding time to do things that bring joy, such as crafting, cooking, watching sports, and getting involved in the community.
