Meet Elizabeth Guevara

Having earned her Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages with a focus in Spanish from Kansas State University, Elizabeth Guevara is a proud first-generation college graduate, raised by two immigrant parents. She shares this milestone with her younger brother, who also recently graduated from Kansas State University. Elizabeth is deeply committed to expanding college access for historically underrepresented communities. As a McNair Scholar and student leader, she found purpose in mentorship, research, and community building.

Her experience as a College Advisor with the Kansas State College Advising Corps deepened her passion for student advocacy and equity. She now brings her strengths in bilingual communication, cultural responsiveness, and relationship-building to her role as Family College Prep Program Advisor.

In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, attending concerts and music festivals, watching musicals, and playing with her family dogs, Camilla and Choco.
